The shot put is one of the events of track and field and it is considered an unstable event. In saying so, first an athlete should have a superior understanding about the control position before all the things.

Competition Iron Shot Put

Even though an athlete knows all the other techniques of development, but of he/she does not have a proper skill with regards to the power position as well as the implementation of the stand throw in shot put then all other practices are of small importance.

The player of shot put has to know that the power position includes various aspects and some of them are a grip, an axis from head to heel, relationship between heel & toe, sternum above the knee and a shot at the back of the foot.

By approaching the backside heel out as well as rotating the hip entirely towards the track of the throw, shot put thrower initiated a stand throw. In the lead of ankle, hip & knee extension an athlete hits the ball elsewhere above the toe slat by completely enlarging the throwing armrest. Any extra rotation should be chunk by the left side, consequently the athlete will be able to notice the shot land. Track and Field offers you a variety of shot puts like competition iron shot puts, indoor rubber shot puts, stainless steel shot put, etc.
