Jamaican Track and Field Athlete Asafa Powell who tested positive for banned stimulant, oxilofrine

Former 100m world record champion and 3rd Fastest 100 Meter Sprinters in History, Jamaica’s Asafa Powell who tested positive for banned stimulant, oxilofrine.

Five Jamaican’s had tested positive and among them Asafa Powell and Sherone Simpson had confirmed. An important point is that these two athletes are the members of same track club MVP, reported by The Jamaica Gleaner on Sunday.


“A Canadian coach of both Powell and Simpson was arrested in Italy” stated by The Jamaica Observer but Sports Illustrated David Epstein reports entirely refuse this and they said they were questioning and not arrested.

Agent of Usain Bolt said several outlets that Usain Bolt is not included in this issue.

According to a telegraph report another Olympic 4*100 relay gold medalist Nesta Carter are tested positive but there is no outlet confirmation and The Jamaica Gleaner stated that only 5 athletes are in the report and Nesta Carter is not among them.
