Yohan Blake succeeds at 100m in 9.85 seconds at a key meeting in Lucerne, Switzerland. The reigning world champion, 22, is measured the major threat to Usain Bolt’s Olympic sprint crowns. He has previously beaten Bolt over 100m and 200m at the Jamaican trials.

I want to remain unbeaten and that’s what I am doing.” Blake stunned Bolt in the 100m final at the Olympic trials last month when winning in 9.75, the fastest time in the world this year and a new individual best.
Bolt, who won both the 100m and 200m at the Beijing Games in 2008 and is the world record holder in equally events, completed second in 9.86 secs, with former world record holder Asafa Powell third in 9.88. Blake also beat Bolt in the 200m final, clocking 19.80.
